Improved security and stability of grid connected the wind energy conversion system by unified power flow controller

چکیده

The stability and security improvements of the grid-connected to wind energy conversion system (WECS) can be made by optimizing placement a flexible alternating current transmission (FACTS). This study discusses optimal one type WECS, namely doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) with series shunt-FACTS control device called unified power flow controller (UPFC). DFIG UPFC connected grid dynamic perfor mance improvement maximum load bus scenario. on is formulated as multi - objective problem, maximizing (Max. LBS) while minimizing active loss (Min. P ) pleasi ng numerous constraints. non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II) have been utilized settle this opposed bi-objective enhancement problem. validity suggested method was examined modified IEEE 14-bus utilitarian examine in analysis toolbox ( PSAT software. has increased system's performance, all specified particular constraints being encountered.
